Dollar Store Challenge
Some of us bloggers got together, and decided to take a particular item each month and make it into something unique. This month the challenge was the humble dollar store candleholder. This is my project. I was needing a new cake stand
By taking two candlesticks from the dollar store, and a pie plate...this is what I made
I love the waves on the bottom of the pie plate.
I used e6000 for attaching the glass pieces together
My flaky pomegranate cups look delish sitting on top of it.
What would you make? Could you use a $3 cake stand?

I did this the opposite way and had the fancy dollar store plate upwards. Also works as a nice soap stand for the bathroom.................... dollar store candle stick for the base
