Dress Up Your Ceiling Light Fixtures

One thing I find tricky to fix up is ceiling light fixtures. I came up with this idea as a quick way to spice up those light covers! MORE PICS/PROJECT PATTERNS HERE
After trying to figure out ways to fix up these types of light covers I finally had an idea. Oil Paint Markers! As these are baked to set they are safe in heat and are perfect for this project! NOTE: There are full directions and details on our site so please visit there after here to get all the details and more designs.
Choose your cover and marker or markers. If you are artistic you won't need a pattern. If you do we have several FREE PATTERNS ON OUR SITE.
If using a pattern tape it to the back of your fixture.
On the front paint your pattern. It's a good idea to keep some nail polish and Qtips handy for quick boo boo removals.
Keep going until the light shade is how you want it. FYI Don't cover it in too much paint. You still want light shining through!
This is the finished light cover in my office.
Enjoyed the project?
