Floating tea light holders

Use them for a beautiful decoration for any occasion

floating tea light holders with pistachio shells, crafts, how to, repurposing upcycling

Using a glue gun, glue sticks, sponge/foam base, pistachio shells, paper and a pen.

First draw a circle on a piece of cardboard/card paper using size of tea light you wish to use. Keep sticking pistachio shells in circles around the circle drawn (leave the actual circle empty. Use the circumference as the guide). Cut out the surrounding excess card. Add a sponge/foam circle according to the size underneath using a glue gun.

If you wish, you can add a sponge/foam circle on the top as well before placing the tea light. This will keep the tea light slightly higher than the shells around.
