Easy DIY Feather Art #Art #DIYart
Do you love all the DIY art tutorials you see on blogs, but don't think you can replicate the pieces because they're over your DIY head? This art is for you. It's so easy that you can replicate it even if you can't draw a stick figure! A vinyl decal used as a reverse stencil is the key to this art's simplicity.
The feather art looks great in a spray painted IKEA frame.
I cut the vinyl feather decal with my Silhouette. I used a feather from the Silhouette store, but I offset it some so that it wouldn't be so delicate. The vinyl feather was the key to creating this piece. (Check out my blog post to see the technique used.)
The piece looks lovely in my living room.
