How To Make Rooster Mason Jars Gift and Craft Kitchen Ideas

Turn a Mason Jar or any jar into a Rooster jar. My kitchen is done in Roosters and I am always adding new Rooster decorations including this adorable Rooster jar! This tutorial is super easy! Anyone can do it by following these step-by-step instructions.
Rooster Jar
What I love about these jars is you can make them any color that goes with your decor and you can use any decal. Just do a Google search to find a picture of a rooster or any picture you want to use.
The first step you will do is spray paint the inside of your jar. This will be the color that will show your decal. I used black as you can see my rooster is black.
Step 2
Once you find the picture you want you will save it onto your desktop, size it down to fit your jar, flip the photo in PicMonkey, then print it on the back side of contact paper.
Step 3
Before you print the picture you first must flip it in PicMonkey, otherwise it will be backwards when you place it onto your jar.
Step 4
Once your photo has been printed, using scissors and/or an exacto knife you will carefully cut it out.
Step 5
Carefully peel off the back of the contact paper and place your photo onto the jar making sure it's straight and centered. It does not matter what color your contact paper is. You will be peeling it off the jar.
Step 6
Now spray paint the outside of the jar in a different color from the one you used to paint the inside of the jar. Making sure you evenly spray the jar and spay over your picture.
Step 7
Now you will remove the picture. I used an exacto knife to tear the center of the picture and started carefully peeling it off.
This is how it will look when your done.

Thanks for a great way to make decals without a Cricut machine. And I love the bright red. 😇💖
