How to Paint Windmill Art

by Deb Hrabik
(IC: blogger)
Do you love farmhouse style too? Here is an idea for a DIY paint project.
I started with a 25" square of plywood. Base the board with a white paint/primer. Then use cardstock folded into 3" squares to pull paints across the surface. This dragging technique will give you a layered and artistic background.
The windmill template is on my blog at Lake Girl Paints.
You can transfer that onto your board. Then I used aluminum paint and white to base in the windmill pattern. For shading, I used aluminum and black. I love the shimmer effect the aluminum paint gives.
Happy Painting,
Deb
