How to Upcycle $0.99 Thrifted Vases
Everyone likes inexpensive home decor items. We're all searching for that amazing find that doesn't break the bank. How do $0.99 thrifted and upcycled vases sound? I hope it sounds great because I'm about to show you just how to do it!

You could even find them in the depths of your basement, attic or garage! The idea is that this is a really inexpensive project so try to find something on clearance or something you already have. This way you will get the most for your money!
Since these items will likely be dirty from sitting on shelves or in boxes, it's a good idea to clean them first. I simply put them in the sink with dish soap to wash them, making sure to get the price tags fully off of them.
You can use your imagination and design preference to choose exactly how you paint them. I love neutral colors so I painted mine white and tan. You could paint them bright, fun colors if that is your style preference. I used Krylon Chalky Finish paint for the base and some old interior wall paint that I had sitting in my basement for the tan sections.
Once you're done, they are the perfect addition to shelves, end tables or a million other places in your home. Enjoy your beautiful vases that cost you hardly anything!
