Ideas for Using Trays in Home Decor
Trays can be marvelous in mixing up your home decor, use them as a table, an anchor for a vignette, a serving platter and more!
This is one of my favorite trays that I am sure I will be using in a variety of ways in my new coastal style home. If you haven’t seen and read about my new home, you can catch some more pictures of it here. I bought this one at Home Goods, ready to add a bit of nautical and coastal feeling to my new Coastal home. At this time, I have gathered a few things for an upcoming house guest, along with some nautical accent pieces. I know I would enjoy being welcomed at someone’s home with a tray like this on the bed. This one might find a permanent home on my yet to be purchased coffee table in the family room.
This round navy and gold tray is one of the few things I have already purchased for my new home. This actually came on a stand and can be used as a small side table. In this case, I used it to gather glasses and liquor for a miniature bar set-up. The gold trim coordinated perfectly with my gold chevron glasses.
I used a more rustic tray with all of the ingredients for a mint julep at my Kentucky Derby Party this past May. I like the combination of the rustic wood and the metal for this sort of party.

I am a tray crazy person too and finally had to stop buying them. I don't ever use them really I just love them and the bigger the better.
