For all you coffee lovers out there. I married a cute little coffee design with a thrifted Lazy Susan and came up with this pretty tray.

Lets get started…

The tray was a basic brown color so I decided to lighten it up a bit.

So here it is now.

I found the design online and cut the stencil on my cutting machine. I’m sure you can find precut stencils that are coffee related either online or in any craft store. I’m going with a two color image so I put painters tape over some of the wording. What a disaster! Even though I used light sticky painters tape it pulled up some of the stencil which I had to replace. Next time I’ll just stencil each color carefully.

note: I use inexpensive shelf liner for my stencil material.

And now I’m finally ready for the second color.

You will get to see the full design in the next photo.

Now you have a better idea of what it says.

But this closeup look shows you that I have a lot of touch up work to do. Perhaps I needed to off load the paint better before applying. But no worry.

I used a thin point paint marker to touch up the black. And for super fine detail I used a toothpick. There is always a way!

Once it looks oh so much better I put on two coats of polycrylic for durability.

And there you have it. What a perfect addition to any coffee bar.

Thanks for checking this tutorial out.
