I recently used 3 paint decks of color swatches to make this fabulous mannequin. I own a decorative painting company so I have tons of color decks on hand! The mannequin was perfect for our home show booth at the local home show that I would be speaking at (plus Chip and Joanna Gaines were there!!!!) and a great advertisement for my decorative painting company!
I had a crazy vision of making a life size mannequin covered in paint swatches. I had no idea how to do it, so it was a little trial and error.
I used a mannequin that my daughter had in her room and a petticoat that I purchased off of Amazon. Come on over to the post to read the details about the petticoat so you won't make the same I did!
I had to deconstruct the paint decks. Thank you Sherwin Williams! Your decks were perfect for the project!
Mr. Magic was my knight in shining armor and helped me to secure the skirt. The kids helped with the bodice. This was definitely a family project. Come on over to the link below for the rest of the details and the final pictures. The moss bodice was the icing on the project!
