Pasta Jar Transformation

I had a few empty pasta jars lying around and thought I could reuse them for my bathroom decor. While scrubbing away and trying to get the old sticky label off, I found soaking the bottles in really hot water with a small amount of bicarbonate and vinegar to be effective.
Soaked the bottles overnight to get rid of the old sticky label.
I Found the graphics I liked on the web. I then printed these out on photo paper. I then traced around the lid over the design to get the right label size. Using craft glue, I then glued the label to the lid.
I then wrapped the twine around the lid using craft glue, making sure I could not see the lid. I did this until I reached the top of the label. I used a seperate piece of twine to go around the top of the label once only.
To finish it off, I found an old metal looking button to place on the top.
Enjoyed the project?
