Picnic Basket From a Fruit Box

Simply build your ideal picnic companion yourself: Lots of space for snacks and once you arrive, it becomes a practical table in no time at all.
You need this:
- Old fruit crate
- Oilcloth
- scissors
- ruler
- Tape measure
- Pencil,
- Double-sided adhesive tape
The width for the oilcloth corresponds to the inside dimension of the long side of the box.
For the length of the cloth, go around the box with the tape measure: you place the tape measure on the outside of the first cross strut and measure over the edge inwards over the floor back to the cross strut on the opposite side.
First stick the double-sided tape to the outside of the upper strut.
Now you can glue the oilcloth flush to the lower edge of an upper strut, fold the fabric inwards, press it down firmly, guide it over the floor and glue it flush to the outside of the upper strut on the other side.
Your new picnic table basket is now ready for the first use in the countryside!

I have an old apple crate I'd like to do this to but I don't think it had handles, may have to make rope ones
