You can do your own searching for window or glass companies that deal with the one way glass. Just because your contractor can't do it doesn't mean nobody can. I am sure there are business's that use that kind of glass and can also direct you to who does their replacements. Check with automotive window tinting companies to see if the can do the mirror type film. A lot of people have the film put on their windows to keep out the sun and for privacy.Helpful Reply -

Here are some links for you, I typed as huge post, page refreshed on its own lost it . . .Look into "electric glass" and 3M privacy glass.https://glassdoctor.com/content/one-way-mirror-glasshttps://www.pilkington.com/en/global/products/product-categories/special-applications/pilkington-mirropanehttps://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/1-Way-Glass-for-Existing-or-New-Windows-FULL-PERM-42-Color-Sets/3133482?id=3133482&slug=1-Way-Glass-for-Existing-or-New-Windows-FULL-PERM-42-Color-Setshttp://imaging-sciences.com/index.php/onewayvisionglass.htmlhttps://www.homeownershub.com/maintenance/one-way-glass-for-bathroom-windows-is-there-such-a-thing-83372-.htmTry an extensive Google search for commercial window suppliers/ installers (think office buildings) and once you make a few calls they can point you in the right direction. Sorry, but your contractor sounds lazy / uninformed to me.Helpful Reply- See 1 previous

I agree with Naomie about your contractor. S/He should be able to at least point you in the right direction. The good news for you though is if you search yourself, you'll find more than one place so that you can get competitive bids. That could end up saving you money. In addition, you can choose who you want and not have to just take whoever he finds. Wishing you the best.Helpful Reply -
