The buffet may look a bit awkward there but there is literally no where else to put it and this liitle area of our house is really dead space off the TV area.
How do I decorate this wall?

So I have been struggling with this wall. I have written in before about the same room. As you can maybe see there are 2 mirrors in the photo. I like the one on the floor. Its dark bronze. My problem is the wall is high and I dont know if the mirror is enough. I do not want shelves. Also, thoughts about the fireplace? I don't want the decor over the fireplace competing w the buffet wall right?

I love your corner fireplace and buffet. If it were me I would hang the mirror that is on the floor above the buffet, but put it length wise not tall. I Would center it and if you wanted more with it, add 2 small framed pictures to the left of it so it would not compete with the fireplace mantel. You could leave the mantel as is that way. The two smaller ones might be of pretty flowers or something that will tie into the pretty wreath or colors in your front room. If you use command strips you could move things without damaging the wall until you get a permanent idea you want to keep. Another idea might be a swag with the mirror, but I would still put it horizontally centered over the buffet and a swag above it, maybe.
Robin these websites just give you a few different types of decorating ideas for you maybe you can find something that will kind of work

Can the cabinet next to tv move closer to carpet. Add a floor lamp to end on carpet or a lamp on cabinet not huge, mirror centred over cabinet. I love candle scones hang near mirrors. I think the two sq pieces sitting on fireplace may go between edge or close of fireplace & window edge clock & candles on fireplace. Nothing hung over fireplace. Good luck, have fun.
Use both the mirrors. Move the buffet the same distance away from fire place as door frame so they are balanced.Use dark mirror(can't see it at all) above buffet. Hang dark frame(one on fireplace) with wreath hung inside above fireplace on lighter wall. Hang the white mirror on it's side above fireplace(darker wall) since it matches door frame . Or switch lighter stuff on lighter wall, darker on darker wall whichever you prefer especially since don't know what bronze mirror looks like but I'd use both mirrors.
ok ty I will try that as well and see what looks best. Thank you for your ideas!

One thing I see which needs to be done is to paint the white wall and the dark tan wall one unifying color....the fireplace is an entirely different combination of colors and textures which make that whole corner look very choppy like it cannot make up its mind what to be....those two walls need to be the same neutral color (your choice) where they meet in the middle of the fireplace...then you can go from there....
I agree with Jan, I think both walls would look better painted the same colour. I feel the bronze mirror would look good vertical on the left side of the buffet with the right side balanced with a lamp, an urn, or a metal urn type piece....something tallish and dramatic with a smaller piece on the buffet close to the piece sitting on the buffet. This look ... going taller with the mirror, is going to help with the higher ceiling. I like what you have on the fireplace ....just keep the buffet simpler and bigger pieces. Good luck...have fun! I like mirrors with candles on each side or small pictures, but not when it is so close to the fireplace...it would compete with your busier fireplace.

Lenora, thank you. I like your idea. I am painting today! I know it's hard to see in the picture. I should have taken a better one. The bronze mirror is round. and 42 inches. large! So if I keep it, you suggest I leave the buffet simple. When you mentioned lamp or urn did you mean a floor lamp?
Here is the mirror up
