All you really need is a jar, a wick and some wax. Melt the wax and pour it into the jar with the wick already sitting in it. You can get fancier from there, but that's what we did in elementary school
Dig a ditch about 3 feet wide and as long as you want it .then dig all out then you will smooth out the dirt wet it then line the whole thing with river rocks then add what ever you want
