My husband is an artist and he recently was in touch with a cousin who well remembers a mural my husband (as a teenager) painted in his family's restaurant. I would actually go to the local high school and find a talented teenager who could help you with this.
You could project an image on your wall (you can do via your cell phone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx4vPeL9y2g) Unless you have some experience drawing and using color, you may want to begin with just a silhouette and use just 2 shades of color that are neutral or "play well together".
