What's the best way to remove Nails out of wood pallets?

Working on any kind of DIY pallet project removing the nails is a horrendous task, any advice?

People say it takes hours for just one. Since you can get pallets for free i saw suggested you just cut the ends off and remove center nails. Don’t worry about the extra wood on the ends. Not worth the labor. -

a claw hammer and a good pair of nail cutters! If you can get ahold of the nail with the nail cutters you can pry up pulling the nail out little by little till it’s out! Just keep getting another grip each time you pull the nail up like maybe a 1/4 “ at a time! -
