Easy to Make: Rustic Burlap Wreath

In my home I love to add a bit of rustic with a bit of new. In this video I’m creating a burlap wreath to add new life to some of my “junk” and to make the new stuff not look so “new”. Did I confuse you? Take a look at my video, it makes more sense!
Burlap: I used about 1.5 yards of burlap for my large wreath.
Measure a square 4 x 4. This will be your template to make more squares out of the burlap.
Add a dab of glue to the center of the square.
Fold the square in half.
Fold the half one more time.
Add another dab of glue around the fold of the square.
Round out the top edges.
Stuff the burlap into the grapevine.
Repeat the entire process until you’ve reached the fullness you prefer. I didn’t use a pattern to add the burlap to the wreath, it was all random.

I like the wreath but would definitely try to add a little bit of color somehow. Any ideas? Thanks.- See 3 previous

I was thinking this burlap wreath could be used for all the seasons/holidays. Just add and take away additional decorations as needed. 🤗

I did just that and added fall colored peonies and it looks great. One thing I did learn is do not use hot glue on these wreaths. You run the risk of destroying the form because of the glue and removing the old decorations. Just sharing,
