Boho Wood Serving Bowl

The inspiration! We love Anthropologie, but it can be expensive. So, we've tried a few Anthropologie hacks and loved them all. Below is what you'll need for an awesome platter!

Make life easier by watching the tutorial at the top of this post! 

STEP 1:

Sand the wood serving bowl lightly. Use a cloth to wipe the bowl and remove dust.

STEP 2:

Paint the outer edges and base of the platter white and let it dry. (If you want you're platter to look more like the Anthropologie version skip this step and move on to step 3.)

Pro tip: Use a brush for grooves or indents and a small paint roller for the upper edges to avoid messy painting.

STEP 3:

Paint the inner sections of the snack bowl with the colour of your choice. A small paint brush is best. Let the paint dry.*

*We painted it orange and hated it So, we painted an olive green over it and absolutely love it!

STEP 4:

If there are any coloured bits on the white edges, use the paint roller to cover those sections with white paint.

STEP 5:

As soon as you’re happy with the look and the paint is dry use a chalk sealer to prolong its durability.

That's it! Now you're ready for snacking. Stock your bowl with different cookies or freshly baked bread and condiments ready for the festive season
