Spice Up Your Room With These Mason Jars!

I really want my room to be a representation of me: simple yet try-hard tumblr. I want my room to be like the ones I see on Tumblr, but I don't want to spend lots of time or money to get there. Today I'm going to show you how to make these really cool(but simple!) mason jar decorations.
For this project you're going to need:
- 1-2(or more!) glass jars. I'd prefer using mason jars but unfortunately you can't find them anywhere where I live.
- Wide washi-tape
- Knife or X-acto knife
- Spray paint
- Twine
- Marker(black + gold)
The first thing i did was put washi-tape on both jars. Then I used a marker to draw a big heart right in the middle of the washi-tape.
You actually can't see my wonderful heart drawings and that's because... they're not there(I decided to draw the hearts once i realized cutting out a heart was really difficult)
Anyhow, I used a knife to cut around my heart. Then I removed the excess washi-tape. I did this on both jars.
Right after that I spray painted the entire jar matte black. You can choose whatever color you want but at this point in my life I was very into black so obviously i spray painted my jars matte black.
Once the paint was completely dry I peeled off the remaining washi-tape
I then took some twine and twisted that around the jar. You can skip this step but I just thought it looked nice.
Soon after that I took my gold marker and drew some lines around the heart, as a finishing touch.
