DIY Stand for Your Tiki Torch

Tiki Torches are a nice way to add ambiance to your outdoor space. Unfortunately for me I have a concrete patio and no grass. The Tiki Torches I purchased are meant to be staked into the ground so I had to figure out a way to make it work for my little DIY Retreat.
The idea that I came up with was to use the stepping stone making craft kit. The kit comes with an 8" square mold that I thought would look a bit crazy as a base so I ended up using the cases that my blank CDs and DVDs come in.
The kit was originally $10.99 at Hobby Lobby, but of course I used my 40% off coupon!
As you can see in the picture I initially tried to give them an updated look before I even thought about doing this project, but I chose the "wrong" color. I ended up painted them a Wrought Iron color that turned out very nicely! Checkout the video to see how the flames gracefully dance along to smooth jazz!
