I had so much fun making this DIY pinecone wreath inspired by having way too many pinecones in our yard. It is fun and easy and the kids can join in too! I love projects that use items we have an abundance of around our lil' homestead it appeals to my frugal nature!

I too have pine cones I collected to do a wreath.
I gathered them, set them in the sun to completely dry & hopefully get rid of any bugs.
When I picked them up to bring them in, the sap was all over them & me! 😣
What did I do OR not do to prevent this?
I SO want to do a wreath but that sap is a mess.
I tossed the cones & had to use goo gone to get it off my hands. 😞
