Under $1 DIY Storage Jars

I'm a little OCD when it comes to organizing. I like to have everything in it's place and a place for everything.I also like things to look pretty. What I don't like is spending a lot of money. So instead of going out and buying apothecary jars and spending a fortune I made my own for less than $1 a piece!
Take an old pickle or jam jar, clean out and punch a hole in the center of the lid.
Paint the lids whatever color you would like.
Screw in door knobs from Ikea. I paid $1.99 for 12.
And you have cute functional storage jars for a fraction of the price you'd pay in stores. For more pictures and tips for this project, and for more budget friendly ideas, check out this post over on Tastefully Frugal
