Upcycled Scrabble Tile Home Decor

Yard sale season is coming soon and that means cheap board games galore! While you're out there bargain hunting, snag a game of Scrabble for this fun upcycled Words With Friends craft.
Letter tiles are always fun to play with, and this DIY is a nice little home decor gift for a friend who loves playing Scrabble or Words With Friends!
- Upcycled Picture Frame
- Upcycled canvas to fir frame
- Scrabble tiles
- Acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Glue Gun
- A pencil and ruler (optional)
- Embellishments if desired
Before working on your craft, decide on the words you want to use in your craft. We used uplifting words. Lay out the placement to be sure it will fit within the measurements of the frame.
Paint the canvas with two coat, allow drying between coats and allow it to completely dry before moving on to the next step.
Attach the canvas to the backside of the frame. You might not need to use glue for this if your frame has a way to secure the canvas from the backside, such as metal swings or clips.
Arrange the letters on your canvas to make sure they fit where you want them. Draw marking lines with your pencil if needed.
Glue them into place. Glue the tiles directly to the canvas using a hot glue gun.
Add embellishments to the blank areas of your canvas or along the outside of the frame. Get creative and make it your own!
Which color flower embellishments do you like better, the red and purple, or two green ones?
