Afternoon Board & Batten

$80.00

I was originally thinking of using wainscoting for our basement entry way but I figured I could find something a little less expensive and I did!
This was our wall in our downstairs entrance, which is what we typically use. I wanted something a little more functional and inviting. Not just a plain wall greeting us or our friends who also use that door.
So using 1x4's and 1x3's we laid out our design and found the studs. Using a nail gun, nailed the boards to the wall. I should say we used MDF instead of Pine, it was less expensive, and it already came primed - Bonus!
Then we caulked the cracks and nail holes and painted.
Added hooks and pictures and voila! A completely different look! Click our link for the full tutorial!

May I ask please, how high up the wall you went with the board and batten? Thank you!
