Quick Accent Wall DIY

I wanted to make a big impact on my bedroom wall but I didn’t want to use a wallpaper, or spend a lot of money!
I used a $1 chip brush and just simply applied brush strokes of latex paint to achieve a more dramatic look and it was a easy and quick project on this wall.
This is the before picture when all the walls were gray. I wanted to add an accent wall behind the bed and make it POP
I went to Menards and picked up this Petrol Blue from Dutch Boy so I could paint either side behind the wood shiplap for a more dramatic feel and then I would add brush strokes in the same gray as the rest of the room.
I took a cheap chip brush and just made quick vertical sweeping motions to get brush strokes. This literally took less than 30 minutes. Add as many or as few as you want to get the desired look you want.
I love the finished look and how it really warmed up the entire room!

Absolutely amazing difference. I want to try this but I get very nervous thinking of doing it. What is I don't like it or my husband doesn't like it? I just need to take the final step.
I love your wall and YES I will!!!!!!!!!!!
