Something Out Of Nothing August #30DayFlip

Our monthly always challenges me to be creative and step out of my comfort zone. I wasn't really sure what I was going to make for this flip, but I definitely had a stockpile to choose from. I was already to pull out some wood and make a beach inspired checker board, but that window was calling at me. So I went for it.
I really just took the window and cleaned it up. I scraped the stickers off and cleaned the glass as best I could. I then waxed it with AS Clear Wax and AS Dark Wax so that it wood be easier to dust. I had a beautiful Boxwood wreath that I had purchased from Target a while back and pulled a roll of Burlap Ribbon out of my craft stash.
The burlap looked a little plain so I taped off the burlap and painted stripe down the center using AS Old White.
I'll be hanging it as soon as I'm done painting my living room. I love when it costs $0 to make something pretty 😉
