Ever since we bought our home in Texas, roughly 2 years ago, I’ve had tons of home improvement ideas and things I’ve wanted to change around the house to make it my own and give it my own style. I wanted my house to be unique and not a cookie cutter from the suburbs. Sometimes it takes a while to accomplish your objective and in this case, it’s taken almost 2 years and counting.
Check out the video to learn how we made you cookie-cutter house a unique home. You could also see what we did and our process in the picture below.
Remove the stools and aprons of all the windows you're going to re-trim them.
Don't throw the old stools and aprons because you're going to use them as a template when cutting the new pieces.
We painted the walls with Sherwin Willians Mindfull Gray.
I wanted this window to look like a bay window.
My husband used a brad gun to nail the pieces in place.
Here are the framed windows, not done but looking great.
Here are the sizes of the wood we used to frame the windows.
Here is a picture of the final result.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like this DIY. Don’t forget to visit my blog, subscribe to my YouTube channel and follow me on my social media, see you soon chauchau!icon
