How do I seal pet urine that went through carpet?

I am going to install vinyl planking. While pulling up carpeting, I found spots from my pets on the plywood below. What’s the best way to handle these before I install my flooring? Also some spots from where the windows were left open. Thanks!

Hello Bill! You can vacuum and sweep up all the dirt and dust on the plywood sub floor and use a primer. It will seal in any urine odors.
Paint using a latex paint which also seals any smell. Let dry before applying vinyl planking.
Paint the floor where the spots are with oil based Kilz primer after you wash with a 10% bleach solution. The Oder will be forever gone.
