How do you repair a 3x3 carpet square that my dog ruined?

The trick to joining carpet is to have the nap match. If the carpet has pile, brush your hand across it to see which direction makes it lighter and which makes it darker. Do the same with the patch. Get both pieces going in the same direction and that should help. Sometime carpet installers will use shears to make the pile level at a seam.Helpful Reply -

Take a square from underneath a large piece of furniture and use that and replace with the new square or old square..........Helpful Reply -

Yes maybe the nap is going in the opposite direction of the carpet that is there... check that out.Helpful Reply -
