Do hydrangeas continue to blossom?

I cut off my spent flowers and now it doesn't seem to be blooming, Will more come out?

Are you sure you only pruned off the dead flowers? -

I don't cut off the dried flowers till the next spring, when the new leaves start showing , I cut off the dry flowers and dead canes. I have Anabelle Hydrangeas. I heard this from an old garden expert. -

Mine only flower once. I think that mine is really scraggly and old and I may replace it, but it is used to not getting much sun, so I don't know if a new one would do very well. It and another shrub block off the bathroom window for privacy.- See 1 previous
