I love new guinea impatiens and marigolds. Both give long season blooming from Spring into Fall.Helpful Reply -

I like new guinea impatiens as well, but I also love petunias because they smell so wonderful - especially in the evening. My favorite combination is deep pink and dark purple. I also do like the red, 'blue' and light pink. I occasionally add white flowers but our house is white so I tend to use the other colors more. I use the deep colors together in my window box and use the other colors in various parts of my yard or in planters that I put on front porch and my patio. We use $1 store solar lights in the planters and they look so pretty at night.Helpful Reply -

I also do a lot of marigolds in different heights and colors which last thru fall. They help to deter mosquitoes also.Helpful Reply -
