The most opportune the would be by April 15. I have put them in as late as the first of june. You won't get tomatoes untold late in the summer depending on the life of the plant you put inHelpful Reply -

I just planted some seedlings within the last week or so. They will probably will not yield as many but I will have tomatoes into October or November. BUT, I am in So. CA which makes a difference. I set out my first plants in March this year and every 3 or 4 weeks, set out a few more for an abundance of tomatoes throughout the growing season.Helpful Reply -
