Horticulture and Garden Junk
A local horticultural society has asked to tour my flower gardens on Sunday afternoon. I am hoping they are not expecting a conventional perennial border with all the Latin botanical names of the plants, because I am a junk gardener with a green thumb. Not a traditional gardener at all.

Kathi on Apr 22, 2017I love your rusty junk garden. Mine is the same. I also came up with an idea last week for a floppy little plant (don't even remember what it is) that reemerged from last year. Pretty blooms but flopped over from its own weight. (Think peonies). I made an impulse buy several years ago for a little beer can chicken rack which I have never even used!I set the big ring down in the soil and pulled the leaves up through the smaller ring and now my plant stands up and is ready to bloom! Cost: $1.00 !
