Hi: This tree is about 3 years old . It has reddish brown leaves and little pink floweCan anyone helprs. Someone gave it to me and I don't know what it is

I agree....it looks like a Redosier Dogwood because of the center of the flowers. It's hard to be sure without a closeup of the blossoms. If the blossoms are followed by white berries that's what it is :)

It is a Crab apple. Cherry tree and pear trees have lots of stamens and a smaller more abundant flower, oleanders have large rosemary shaped leaves and dogwoods have 4 petal flowers. Look up Crab apple on Google then click on images.

we have them in many of our local parks and in the ugly bit that seperates two sides of the road the strip down the middle, they do make wonderful crab apple jelly so do look up some recipes online

By the bulbing flowers I would say it's a type of Oleander we have several and they are all different but the flowers seem to all bulb like that but if it by chance starts going from bulb to flower to a hardened shell maybe it is a pomegranate tree, their flowers are more red and defined centers of the flowers have numerous little yellow stems.
