Trish id it's not a hydrangea, I have no idea but I would love to have one. The blooms a simply beautiful. How big are the blooms? It looks like a hydrangea tree, even theleaves like like that but smaller than most hydrangeas. But I don't think any of the hydranges have a scent.  I'll leave this question for the plant experts to answer as I would like to know to get a plant like it. Does it grow in full sun or partial to help identify what kind of plant it is.

Saw it at a camp ground. I have a Snowball and it does not have a scent. I would love to find out as I want one of these. They were all over the campground. I also posted a pict of a pink tree I am looking for the name of.

My Korean Spice got away from me and went crazy. I put it in front of my greenhouse and it quickly grew to about 9 ft tall and so wide that it covered up the window. It got a serious haircut today. I love their smell.

Viburnum are wonderful plant family that goes well and bloom in the spring in most of the USA, even the panhandle of Florida.  It roots easily also.

There are 2 types of Viburnum that bloom like this in the spring. One is the snowball bush and the other the carlesii.

Sorry about above answer. I also found the Eastern Snowball (Viburnum opulus sterile). You need to look at the plant leaves and if it has berries.
