Mother Nature hasn't always cooperated with our plans for planting garden, so yes, I have planted garden plants in wet soil so as not to be planting them too late. I try to not pack the dirt too hard around the plant though.Helpful Reply -

I guess, it depends a little on the level of wetness. If you have extremely wet soil or puddles I would ot recommend it. Then it would be better to wait until the soil is a little dryer. Generally speaking, however, if the soil allows proper drainage and does not stay too wet, it should not harm the plants. Try to keep it a little more loose around the plants. Good luck and happy planting :)Helpful Reply -
