Your location was not mentioned,if the temperature is above 55 degrees you can plant it,leave all the greenery on as the bulb feed from that .Helpful Reply -

I am a smart a--, I know---but you can do anything you want---will it work is the question and that answer is yes.....if you can grow daylilies in your area....usually plant in the fall or after frost seasonHelpful Reply -

I have a section at my ex hubby's house where I plant most of the lillies that I receive. I just plant in ground and let mother nature take its course. Every spring there is a vast array of beautiful lillies. Be sure to choose a location that they will do well in. Mark the spot so someone does not unearth and toss. You do not say where you are located, but my girlfriend in NC does something similar and she always has a spectacular show. Her house is always in the local paper. So throw caution to the wind and give it a try!Helpful Reply -

Yes they grow taller with multiple blooms. I have been buying a couple every year after Easter when they are knocked down in price, but I have run out of room!Helpful Reply -
