It definitely needs to be really dry between waters. When you do water, make sure it is just enough, don't over saturate. A fertilizer will help with any nutrients it is lacking.
What kind of money does it produce? I need one.

Money plants grow well in poor soils and shaded conditions. Water requirements are minimal, but good drainage is essential.
