This, I believe, is a goldfish plant (its common name) whose botanical name is Columnea gloriosa . It is different from a lipstick plant in that the lipstick flowers have what looks like a lipstick case that each flower extends from (see picture someone posted above). The cigar plant has flowers that look dark on the end of each flower as though it had been "burned" like a cigar would look. The goldfish plant flower has "fins" on the sides of them and often look like leaping fish. There is one variety that look like hatchet fish with the deep bellies. You asked for common and botanical names for your plant. Do you need any other info?Helpful Reply -
