Return your plant to its usual location and continue watering with 3 ice cubes once a week.Helpful Reply -

An Orchid is a tropical plant, attached to a tree. All the Orchids I have, I had replanted them right way in clay pots with a hole in the bottom, all plants don't like plastic pots.Roots growing over the pot, I repot them in a larger clay-pot, removing dried up roots, and once a year I give them fresh Orchid Woodchips.Sometimes I spray them in the sink, removing dust, and give them their original way to get water, by rainfall. Let them totally drip out.I killed some Orchids with overwatering, I stay with 2 ice-cubes a week. The heater air and air-condition gives us problems.I had the same problem with re-blooming, leave the Orchid at the same place, full sunshine behind thin valances, they will bloom again.Good luck.Helpful Reply -

My orchids are either blooming or coming into bloom. I have had some of mine more than 10 years. I have them in a bark medium and water deeply once a week. It is important that all the bark be moist. These are rain forest plants and need to be damp, not wet, at all times. I also spray them every day with water. If they're not blooming every year at least once they are too dry.Helpful Reply -
