Yes, you should be able to do it but again - I would highly recommend going with a kit. Especially without soil. I think there are some soil alternative kits that would work well.

Can you grow microgreens without soil?
You sure can, although we do recommend in our tutorial here working with soil, just because it’s easy for most folks to source. Because these plants aren’t going to grow for very long, they don’t need the long-term nourishment from the soil. A common alternative to dirt is using hydroponic growing mats or coconut coir.
Very informative from a site that sells microgreens. They have a chat where you can discuss your thoughts and find out what they think are the best microgreens for this process. https://www.johnnyseeds.com/growers-library/tools-supplies/hydroponics/introduction-hydroponic-growing.html
Hi
I myself find it overwhelming!
I started with the Cricut joy and it’s brilliant, very straightforward and easy to use. They have thousands of already designed projects that all you have to do is cut. Using design space is a whole other story 🤦🏾♀️ But the the joy is probably a great place to start with. Good luck
Hi Abby, yes you can. Nature is a wonderful thing. I don't know if you did those experiments at school where you grow seeds on a paper towel. It's the same principle just with more seeds. Here's a video that will show you how to grow microgreen or a paper towel or coconut fiber - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbjlCBXP7gQ

When growing in a jar I found that frequent and thorough rinsings are very important. The sprouts need to have their water clean to ensure the best taste and growth.
