in a pot so it won't take over the yard. regular potting mix will do.

  • From seed or nursery plant? Very invasive so keep in a pot unless you have room for it to take over. And it will take over and yanking it out down the line is no fun. Easy to care for, throw some water on it, give it some sun and it will grow.

i agree with the other to comments, mint is super easy to grow but can be very invasive.

Follow the advice of the previous readers and be sure to plant the mint in a pot ... or you will see it take over your garden!

Thhas got th be the easiest. Just put it in the corner of the yard and watch it take off.
you might want to dig a rather deep barrier around it because once started, it grows
    rapidly.

Put it in a sunny location. I also agree that keeping it in a pot is safest because it's very aggressive. Bees love it, so you might also want to place it NOT near a door.

yes - just plant it and it will grow. And grow. And grow. Our lawnservice cut mine down by mistake and it's back already!
