Revive on Jan 01, 2018
After Christmas is well over (around Feb) place your Poinsettia in a dark room and water only occasionally. Next November, bring it out an place in a bright window - it will revive to its beautiful colours.Helpful Reply -

What? I kind of think that might slightly be going against nature! I mean, it is kind of like trying to avoid your children's baby teeth from falling or your hair from graying! Or am I not understanding your question correctly? :-|Helpful Reply -

I keep mine inside, and in the sun, and water the plant weekly. With these actions, more leaves are coming out, and I will not have to put them under the house, in darkness like many folks do. If you have to, remove 1.5 inches of soil, and put in new soil, and stir up the area. This will be fine, and new growth will come forth, very soon. They love fresh soil. Best wishes, J.Helpful Reply -
