The banana is not a tree, it is a plant. Growing 18 month and then it dies.make sure to remove all new seedling and you will be alright.Helpful Reply -

Dig up a circle of soil about 1 foot around the base. Insert the blade of a sharp shovel into the disturbed dirt at a 45-degree angle to sever any underground roots, working all the way around the plant. After the roots have been severed, you can easily pull the banana plant up.Helpful Reply -
