What is this plant called

I have a few on my property and the butterflies love them. They are growing in rocky dry soil. I would like to move one closer to my house.

I can't get a real close look, but if they are growing at this time, they may be japanese anemones. They grow well in a shady or more shady garden. Not sure about sun.

That must be a pretty sight seeing pretty butterflys flying around. This is an unusual year as I dont ever see birds flying around....that's good for the butterflys.

  I am in Newfoundland, Canada. This is one before it bloomed. As you can see they are shaped very nicely. That one is about 2 feet high.

Looks like pearly everlasting. I have this in my Minnesota garden. Native to Minnesota. Lots of bees love it. Needs sun.
