Will geraniums or petunias survive a frost?

My geraniums are in ground and will live even when it gets down into the teens. You might lose some foliage but they pop right back up in spring.Helpful Reply -

If it's a light frost, I cover my geraniums with a fleece blanket. If it's a long, hard frost, I dig them up and bring them indoors. Petunia's I don't bother with. If they freeze, I just pull them out.Helpful Reply -
