Can I use the soil in my out door pots again?

I replaced the soil in my containers last year, can I reuse it as is?

Yes, I have the same dirt in my whiskey barrels for 19 yrs now. I do mix in some new dirt each year and add coffee grounds and egg shells.![]()

Take out at least half and fill in with new soil -

Not reall. There won't be any nutrient left. Always best to replace it from year to year. Your plants will thank you. -
