How can I grow herbs indoors?

I have tried several times to grow herbs (basil, rosemary, oragano etc.) indoors without any success.

I agree with Caseyem, lots of light and heat. Allow them to go dry, overwatering is a real problem. Rosemary is difficult indoors due to the dry air. Place the pot on a tray of stones and keep water below for humidity. Mist if you must.Helpful Reply -

Need to be in a window and water weekly. Mine only do so well inside and I eventually have to move them outside since I use a dehumidifier in my home.Helpful Reply -
