How do you protect your lawn from snow mold?

I put down my winterizer in December, but I am just wondering if there was anything else I could have done to protect my lawn over the long winter months here in Southeastern Wisconsin?

Slow release lawn food is a good option to use, one with lower nitrogen contents. Nitrogen can promote snow mold...here is an article from Lowe's that has some other important, simple tips. You might have done these, but just in case, here is the article: https://www.lowes.com/cd_How+to+Treat+and+Prevent+Snow+Mold_1364830327640_
I would contact a lawn care company to see what they recommend. I used to live in Manitowoc, but never heard about snow mold until many years later in WA. My neighbor here used to work for a lawn care company.
Hu, Kert,
If you did not apply a preventative fungicide in the Fall, lightly rake the area, to provide better air flow.
Next year, you can apply the fungicide, or switch to Milorganite, which has a lower Nitrogen level, and can be applied any month you have no snow on the ground.
